Secure Micro-Frontend Orchestration with Behavioral AI
Preejith Ponneth
Abstract:
As enterprises adopt micro-frontend architectures, the client-side attack surface expands through dynamic imports, distributed component ownership, and runtime composition. Traditional routing and static loading strategies rarely account for security posture, behavioral anomalies, or system integrity signals. This session introduces a security-driven orchestration model that applies lightweight behavioral intelligence to control when and how micro-frontends are activated.
By analyzing user navigation traces, interaction depth, session patterns, and access frequency, the orchestration layer establishes behavioral baselines and detects deviations that may indicate malicious automation, injection attempts, or abuse of exposed components. Instead of blindly preloading assets, the system enforces contextual activation policies that adapt to runtime risk indicators, client capability profiles, and application health signals. Suspicious flows can trigger delayed imports, sandbox isolation, or component denial to reduce exploit opportunities.
The architecture operates without external AI APIs, relying on locally trained models and event-driven risk evaluation pipelines. Attendees will gain a practical framework for reducing client-side attack surface, strengthening runtime integrity, and embedding adaptive security controls into modern micro-frontend ecosystems.
